In college, it can be challenging to find meaningful experience to set you up for success after graduation and when securing internships. Students have innovative ways to apply learned concepts and we want to provide them with the opportunity to fully express themselves while learning what works.
Service Learning is an educational approach that blends learning objectives with community service in order to provide a progressive learning experience.

Accountant
Responsible for managing the finances for the organization, maintaining the books, and providing a monthly status update of our growth.
Grant Researcher
Responsible for locating grants and creating a spreadsheet with grant information and upcoming dates. Works hand and hand with grant writer to ensure that every opportunity is seized.
Videographer
Responsible developing content for the YouTube channel and expanding out channel.
Community Partners Ambassador
Responsible for identifying potential strategic partners in the area and researching ways that we can work together and align interests.
Blogger
Responsible for creating 3 blogs each week to for the website that engage followers and promote relevant content.
Corporate Relations Mgr
Responsible for making sure that corporate partners are aware of upcoming events and opportunities for employees to get engaged. Also will serve as a point of contact for the partner if they have any questions.
Journalist
Responsible for researching current issues in the community inform youth and creating quarterly newsletters for partners and followers .
Social Media Manager
Responsible for posting daily content to build social media presence and expand followers.
Volunteer Coordinator
Responsible for reaching out to past volunteers and following on mailing list to ensure that they are aware of upcoming events that they can participate in.
Progressive Program Developer
Responsible for coming up with innovative programs that align with the mission to potentially implement as the organization grows.
Fundraising Captain
Responsible for implementing creative ways to generate funding to support the organization and tracking the progress towards the goal.
Outreach Coordinator
Responsible for coming up with creative ways to engage the community in BLAST activities
